Fontainebleau Developer Plans Major Upgrade for Florida Big Easy Casino

Jeffrey Soffer and his team at Fontainebleau Development are setting their sights on a fresh chapter for the Big Easy Casino in Hallandale Beach, Florida. The prominent ownership group, renowned for its luxury Las Vegas Strip resort and high-end hospitality ventures, wants to revitalize the historic Sunshine State gaming facility. While the property currently hosts around 700 slot machines alongside electronic table games and bustling poker rooms, the upcoming modernization project aims to elevate the entire entertainment experience for visitors across the region.

What changes are coming to the Big Easy Casino?

Although official blueprints and financial figures are still under wraps, the development team is focusing heavily on modernizing the aging venue. The historic site, which traces its roots back to the old Hollywood Greyhound Track and later operated as the Mardi Gras Casino, is long overdue for a contemporary facelift. Soffer and his associates bring a massive reputation for luxury and sleek design, meaning patrons can likely expect an upscale overhaul of the gaming floor, improved dining options, and a much more vibrant atmosphere.
